Answer

a) 320 gms

b) 448 liters

Explanation:

a) 1 mole of oxygen contains 6* 10^23 molecules

6 x 10^23 molecules = 1 mole

12 x 10^24 molecules = (1/6 x 10^23)x 12 x 10^24 moles

= 20 moles

Now 1 mole = 16 g of O2

20 moles = 16 x 20 = 320 g of O2

b) 6 x 10^23 molecules = 22.4 l of o2

12 x 10 ^ 24 molecules = (22.4/6 x 10^23) x 12 x 10 ^24 l

= 448 l of o2
