Given:-
- An arm of a square is of 30 m.
- The area of that square is equal to a rectangle field, whose one arm is of 20 m.
⠀
To find:-
- Another arm of the rectangular field.
⠀
Solution:-
Let,
- the missing arm of the rectangular field be x.
⠀
Firstly,
- we have to find out the area of the rectangular field.
⠀
☆Area of rectangular field = l × b
⇛ 20 × x
⇛ 20x
⠀
☆Area of the square field = 30 m²
⇛ 30 × 30
⇛ 900 m
⠀
☆Area of the square field = Area of the rectangular field
⇛ 900 = 20x
⇛ 900/20 = x
⇛ x = 45 m
⠀
Hence,
- the another arm of the rectangular field is 45 m.
