firstly i think there is some mistake in your question
about the potential difference
but i have seen this question
lets do it
= the'v' across diode and resister
[3-1] =2v [ bcoz the potential of p-side is more positive than that of n-side, hence, diode is in forward biasing].
In forward biasing current flow is possible and I=V/R=(2)/100
=1/50 a
now multiply it by 1000 fr the conversion into 'ma'
=1/50*1000
=1000/50
=20ma
