Answer :- we Know That, Any Number written in the form of p/q , where q ≠ 0 are rational Numbers.

So,

Upto 0 and (-2) we can write Many Numbers :- (-1) , (-2/3) ,(-4/5), (-7/6) Etc.

Solution (4) :-

5 Rational Numbers b/w 1/4 & 3/8 :-

First Lets Make Denominator same :-

→ (1/4) * (2/2) = 2/8

So, we can say That, we have to Find 5 rational Numbers 2/8 and 3/8 .

Multiple And Divide by both Terms by 6 we get :-

→ (2/8) * (6/6) = 12/48 .

And,

(3/8) * (6/8) = 18/48.

So, we can say that, we have to Find 5 rational Numbers 12/48 & 18/48 ====

→ 12/48 < 13/48 < 14/48 < 15/48 < 16/48 < 17/48 < 18/48 .

Hence, we can say That, 5 Rational Numbers b/w, 1/4 & 3/8 Are :-

2) (14/48) = (7/24)

There are infinite numbers between two rational numbers.

So, three rational numbers between 0 and -2 are:

-1/2, -1/3 , -1/4 ,-1/5 etc.

Q4: Find Five rational numbers between 1/4 and 3/8.

Solution:

We need to multiply 1/4 and 3/8 with a number so that we can have the same denominators.

1/4 × 20/20 = 20/80

3/8 × 10/10 = 30/80

Now, five rational numbers between 1/4 and 3/8 are:

21/80, 22/80, 23/80, 24/80, and 25/80.
