Answer:

let

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+3y=11 equation 1 and 2 x- 4 y= -24 equation 2

Answer:

2x+3y=11 --->1

2x-4y=-24 --->2

By Eliminating method, we obtain

2x+3y=11-(2x-4y= -24)

=>7y=35

=> y=35/7 = 5

Substituting it's value in equation 2,

we obtain,

2x-4x5= -24

2x-20=-24

2x= -24+20

2x= -4

x=-4/2

x=-2

hence, x=-2 and y=5

Again,

substituting the values of x and y,

we obtain

y=mx+3

5=m(-2)+3

5=-2m+3

5-3=-2m

2/-2=m

-1=m

Hence, the value of m=-1
