Given: Radius of base (r) and height (h) of the conical tank are 7 m and 24 m
⇒ Slant height (l) = r 2 + h 2
= (7 m) 2 + (24 m) 2
= 49m 2 + 576m 2
= 625m 2
= 25m
Thus,
Curved surface area = πrl = 22 7 × 7 × 25 m 2 = 550m2
for,
10 cones = 550 x 10 = 5500m2
now,
for 2mts = 40 rs
so,
for 5500mts = 5500 x 40/2
= 5500 x 20
rs = 1,10,000-/-
