If this is in Ap.
k+9, 2k-1and 2k+7
then as you know that the Common difference between two cinsecutive term of an AP is same.
so, common difference D"=t2-t1 【where t2 is 2nd term and t1 is first term of an AP】
so,D=(2k-1)-(k+9)
"D"=k-10-------1)
and another D=t3-t2 【t3 is third term and t2 is 2nd term】
D"=2k+7-(2k-1)
D=8-------2)>>

8=k-10
