    she bought potatoes = 3/2 kg

    she bought ginger = 1/10 kg

= 1/2+ 1/4 + 3/2+ 1/10

 LCM of 2,4,2 and 10 is 20

10,   5,  30,  2   = 47

∵ Total weight of vegetable is 47/20.

(2) Teacher brought sweet for children = 55/4

     He distribute sweet to the children = 103/8

     55/4 - 103/8

     LCM of 4 and 8 is 8

     55×2= 110     103×1= 103

     4×2      8          8×1     8

=   110/8  -  103/8

    7/8

∵ weight of remaining sweet is 7/8.
