In this figure current through 3 ohm is 0.8A.

Therefore through 6ohms is 0.4A . It is because if we double 3 we get 6 we know current is inversely proportional to resistance.

So hence through 6 it is 0.4 A

And 2 resistor is parallel. There fore current through the circuit = 1.2 A
