Given,

Production in 2005 = 325

Production in 2006 = 438

Production in 2007 = 429

Production in 2008 = 258

Production in 2009 = 495

So,

Increase in production in 2009 compared to 2005 = Production in 2009 - Production in 2005

⇒ increase in production = 495 - 325 = 170

Now,

Percentage increase in production

= Increase in production / Production in 2005 * 100

= 170/325 * 100

= 52.30%

Therefore, The percent increase in production of 2009 compared to 2005 is 52.30 %
