a student get 20% and fail by 6 marks
2nd student get 30% and get 6 marks extra
so passing marks
20% + 6 = 30% - 6
10% = 12
so total marks 100% = (12/10)× 100 = 120marks
1st student get 20% marks and fail by 6 marks
so passing marks = (120×20)/100 + 6
= 24 + 6 = 30
