Answer:

(i)a)56/15

(b)-13/19

2)(a)x=16

(b)m=50

3)(a)19/6

(b)-12/18

5)-1.9,-1.99,-1.89,-1.78,-1.43

6)Let the three consecutive numbers be x,x+1,x+2

Sum of the numbers is 51.

∴x+x+1+x+2=51

3x+3=51

3x=48

x=16

The numbers would be x=16,

x+1=16+1=17,

x+2=16+2=18

So, the numbers are 16,17,18.

7)This is related to Linear Equations.

Linear equation which invoves in one

varible is called ' linear equation in one

variable ' or ' Simple equation ' .

3( t - 3 ) = 5 ( 2t - 1 )

3t - 9 = 10t - 5

-9 + 5 = 10t - 3t

-4 = 7t

7t = -4

t = -4 / 7
