Acc. To Me,

Its an easy question and answer is 6

------------------------------------------------------------------

I use nP4 here---------i don't able to write like question so i hope you understand symbol

nP4=n!/(n-4)!

and nP4=360

So n!/(n-4)!=360

Now I break factorial----------you learn from its basic

n*(n-1)*(n-2)*(n-3)*(n-4)!/(n-4)!=360

(n-4)! will cancel and Now

n*(n-1)*(n-2)*(n-3)=360----------------(i)

Here you have to use a little bit brain if you doesn't want to solve complex equations.Just break 360 into multiplication of 4 numbers which comes before other  For Example- 5*4*3*2 or 7*6*5*4.

I do this becz you see above equation like this

n*(n-1)*(n-2)*(n-3)

mean if you take n=9 then other 3 are 8,7,6 means (no. -1),(no.-2),(no.-3)

So here If you take n=6 then it comes to

6*5*4*3 and if you put n=6 in eqn (i) then it satisfys means it is correct.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope you understand my language
