Please solve it immediately :

When brakes are applied to a bus, the retardation produced is
25cm \: {s}^{ - 2}
and the bus takes 20 seconds to stop. Calculate (i)the initial velocity of bus (ii)the distance travelled by bus during this time

initial velocity=

v=u+at

u=v-at
=0-(-20*25)=500cm/sec=5m/s


distance=ut+1/2at^2

=5*2+1/2*25*20*20
10+500
= 600
