==> Re = 4 ohms
The effective resistance is 4 ohms.

By Ohm's Law , V = IR
Given , V = 8 volts
R is 4 ohms
==> V = I R
==> I = V/R
==> I = 8 volts/4 ohms
==> I = 2 amperes
==> I = 2 A
The current is 2 A.

==> V = IR
==> V = 2 A×4 ohms
==> V = 8 v
The voltage is 8 v.
