◆see if the wire gets divided into two parts then the circuit is said to be parallel.
◆but if the wire is just folded it would be in series.
now,
you see current from a to b gets divided into two this means they are in parallel.
and also, R1 and R2 are in series because the wire isn't divided into two here at F .
similarly, R3 and R4 are in series.
all of them are of 10 ohm
now Req1,2. of R1 and R2 = 10 + 10
= 20 ohm------------(1)
similarly,Req3,4 R3 + R4 = 10 + 10
= 20 ohm------------(2)
now, as we combine the two which are in series we get this diagram (2)
here R1 and R2 are in parallel so,
1/Req = 1/20 + 1/20
1/Req = 2/20
1/Req = 1/10
Req = 10 ohm
now, we have to find the current.
V= IR
3= I × 10
I = 3/10
I= 0.3 A
