Explanation:

On both sides the three one ohm resistance are in parallel , hence their resistance will be 1/1+1/1+1/1 =1/R  

R 1= 1 ohm

R 2= 1 ohm

R 3= 1 ohm

now the resistance in series will be 1+1+1 which equals to 3 ohm

since 3 ,

1 ohm resistor are in parallel

so

1/Rp=1+1+1

Rp=1/3ohm

like that other 1ohm three resistor are in parallel

Rp=1/3 ohm

now three resistor is left one is 1 ohm and 2 is 1/3 ohm they are in series

Req = 1/3 + 1/3 +1=5/3 ohm
