Please solve it its easy

a vector A=sqrt3 - 1j is rotated clockwise direction through an angle 60 degree to obtain another vector B.what is the value of A.B.plz solve it i need help

sivaprasath: what do you mean by sqrt3 ?
Nitrome: root of 3
sivaprasath: root 3 i^ - 1 j^ = A ?
Nitrome: no its 3^(1/2)
sivaprasath: ya
sivaprasath: A = root 3 i cap - 1j cap ?
Nitrome: yes
sivaprasath: ok
sivaprasath: (Done), Mark my ans. as brainliest,. Hope you understand,. something atleast,.

Answer:

A . B = 2 units

Explanation:

Given :

A vector A=√3 i - 1j is rotated clockwise direction through an angle 60 degree to obtain another vector B.what is the value of  A . B

Solution :

A=√3 i - 1j

We know that dot product of any two vectors = Product of magnitudes of two vectors × cos θ  (where θ = angle between them)

⇒ A . B = |A| |B| cosθ

Since, |B| = |A| ( same vector at different angle)

⇒ |A| = \sqrt{(\sqrt{3})^2 + (-1)^2} = \sqrt{3 + 1} = \sqrt{4} = 2 units.

⇒ |B| = |A| = 2 units,.

__

⇒ A . B = |A| |B| cos 60° = 2 × 2 × \frac{1}{2} = 2

⇒ A . B = 2

sivaprasath: Thx, The question is ,. Did you understand something
sivaprasath: ??
Nitrome: yes ,i was unsure about the measure of vector B.i was so stupid that i didnt realised that the magnitude of vectors will remain the same only the components will change
sivaprasath: Sometimes , it happens,.
sivaprasath: Even I did a mistake in class 11 annual exam,. I wrote 1 + 1 = 1
sivaprasath: not that,
sivaprasath: I wrote (3)^2 + 1 = 4 , and lost 5 marks
