mass (m) of body is doubled, i.e.

If mass = m

So,

doubled mass = 2m

Velocity become half, i.e

velocity = v

=> half velocity =  \bf \dfrac{1}{2}v

We know that,

momentum (p) = mv

Here,

 \bf p =  \cancel2m \times  \frac{1}{ \cancel2} v \\  \\  =  \bf mv

So,

The momentum remains same. [option (a)]
