Now ATQ
x-10=y+10
x-y=20
2(y-20)=x+20
2y-40=x+20
x-2y=-60
-x+2y=60
x-y=20
on adding the eq. we get
y=80=B
x=20+y=20+80=100 =A
Now ATQ

x-y=20

2y-40=x+20
x-2y=-60

and Number of students in hall b=y-20
In this case number of students in hall a becomes double the number of students in hall b,so we get:
By subtracting (2) from (1) we get:
