Explanation:

\huge\underline\mathfrak\color{pink}  Answer

weight of body on the surface of the earth, W = 2000N

so, mass of body = W/g , where g is acceleration due to gravity on the surface of the earth. i.e., g = 10m/s²

now, m = 200/10 = 20 Kg.

find acceleration due to gravity d m depth from the surface of the earth.

we know,

g'= 1 -  \frac{d}{r}

given, d = R/2

so, g' = g(1 - 1/2) = g/2 = 5m/s²

now weight of body = mg'

so, g' = g(1 - 1/2) = g/2 = 5m/s²

= 20 × 5 = 100N

so, g' = g(1 - 1/2) = g/2 = 5m/s²

hence, \:  answer \:  is \:  100 \: N.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU;!
