1 +   \frac{6x + 1}{3}  =  \frac{x - 3}{6}  \\  \frac{3 + 6x + 1}{3}  =  \frac{x - 3}{6}  \\  \frac{4 + 6x}{3}  =  \frac{x - 3}{6}  \\ 24 + 36x = 3x - 9 \\ 33x =  - 33  \\ x =  - 1
