Answer:

root(6x+7) -2x+7=0

root(6x+7)=2x-7

squaring both sides

6x+7=(2x-7)²

6x+7=4x²+49-28x

0=4x²-34x+42

now middle term splitting

4x²-28x-6x+42

4x(x-7)-6(x-7)

(4x-6)(x-7)

4x-6=0

4x=6

x=1.5

and

x-7=0

x=7
