Let the price of tea be x,
then the price of sugar is x + (25x/100) = 1.25x.
Percent by which price of tea is less than that of sugar is -
[(1.25x - x)/1.25x] × 100 = (0.25x/1.25x)×100 = 100/5 = 20%.
