Here it's very to understand the concept.......
fractional part of any no. always tends to 1
as like,,7.1=7+1/10
here fractional part of 7 is 1/10....which will tend to 1
Other example we can take as8.8=8+8/10
fractional part of 8 is 8/10 ,which is also trending to 1
using this concept we can say
Limit of {x}=1
so,now simply put this in given terms
lim(x->I-){e^{x}-{x}-1}/{x}^2={e^1-1-1}/1^2
=(e-2)
Hence e-2 will be the required limit....
so, option b is the correct one
