$48x + 32y = 912 \\ 3x + 2y = 57$
Also
$y = \frac{2}{5} \times x \\ y = \frac{2x}{5}$
Now put the value of y in above equation we get
$3x + 2 \times \frac{2x}{5} = 57 \\ \\ \frac{15x + 4x}{5} = 57 \\ \\ \frac{19x}{5} = 57 \\ \\ x = \frac{57 \times 5}{19} \\ \\ x = 3 \times 5 \\ \\ x = 15$
And
$y = \frac{2}{5} \times 15 \\ \\ y = 2 \times 3 \\ \\ y = 6$
Hence
Number of Story books are 15
and Number of picture books are 6
