Given :
ar( triangle ) = ar( rhombus )
triangle - b = 24cm
h = 66cm
rhombus - diagonal 1 = 36cm

To find :
i ar( rhombus )
ii diagonal 2

Solution :
ar (triangle) = 1/2 × b × h
= 1/2 × 24 × 66
= 792 sq.cm

ar (triangle) = ar( rhombus)
thus,
792 sq.cm = ar (rhombus) _____(i) found

ar(rhombus) = 1/2 × d1 × d2
792 sq.cm = 1/2 × 36 × d2
792 sq.cm = 18 × d2
792 ÷ 18 = d2
44cm = d2 _______(ii) found

therefore,
area of rhombus =792 sq.cm
measure of other diagonal = 44cm
