hey remember this series. The higher member can oxidise the lower member but not the opposite. So bromine will oxidise I- ions or say I- ions will reduce Br.

rakesh58450: but u cant write Br2 + cl- gives br-+cl2 bcoz of the different oxidising powers. if simply elements r given u can use srp values but if reactions r given with compound n asked which is possible u can use the seiries i sent
