given :- data in table form

to find : - median

 { \huge{ \pink{ \underline{ \underline{ \red{ \mathbb{ \bigstar{  \green{solution}}}}}}}}}

N = 90

 \frac{n}{2}  =  \frac{90}{2}  = 45

the cumulative frequency just greater than n/2 is 45 and corresponding class is 40-50

thus ,

40-50 is the median class .such that l=40,f=25,f=20,h=10

 \therefore \: median =  \frac{l +  \frac{n}{2} - f }{f}   \times h \\ median =  \frac{40 + </u><u>9</u><u>0</u><u>/</u><u>2</u><u> - </u><u>2</u><u>0</u><u>}{25}  \times 10 \\ median = </u><u>5</u><u>0</u><u>

hence , median = 50

n=90

n/2 = 45

L= 40

h = 10

cf= 25

md. = l+ {n/2 - cf × h}

__________

f

therefore, md = 40+[ 150]

____

25

therefore, md =8
