let first number xand second number y
so, x/y = 5/3
and x-y=18 x=18+y
put the value of x,(18+y)/y=5/3
solve the equation...so u find the value of y=27
x=18+y = 18+27 =45
So, x = 45 and y = 27
so, x/y = 5/3
