DATA:- BC = BO

AO = BO (radii)

angle ACD = y and angle aod = x

TO PROVE :- x = 3 y

PROOF:-

since ,

BC = BO

angle BCO = angle BOC( triangle BOC is an isosceles triangle)

hence angle BOC = y

now angle OBA = 2y

( by exterior angle property)

since BO = AO ( radii)

hence angle OBA = OAB ( isosceles triangle property)

hence angle OAB = 2y

hence by angle sum property of triangle ABO,

angle aob = 180 degree - 4 Y

hence, inline DOC,

X + Y + 180 - 4 Y = 180 ( by linear pair axiom)

hence x = 180 - 180 + 4 Y - Y

hence x = 3 y.

hence proved....
