Given:AD is the diameter of the circle.
Therefore AB+BC+CD=AD.
Thus AB=BC=CD.
Let AB,BC,CD be x.
x+x+x=6
3x=6
x=2. Area of semi circle = 22/7*r^2/2
Area of shaded region = [(area of semi circle of Dia. AD- area of semi circle of Dia. Bd)] +area of semi circle with Dia. AB.
=[(22/7*6/2)-( 22/7*4/2) + 22/7*2/2
=[66/7-44/7] + 22/7
=22/7+22/7= 44/7.
Therefore AB+BC+CD=AD.
Thus AB=BC=CD.
