let the two numbers be 7x and 3x...so atq...7x-3x=48=>4x=48=>x=12..hence the two numbers are 7*12 and 3*12 i.e 84 and 36

let the present age of aditi be x..then rohit's present age is x+5...4 yrsclater aditi's age ll be x+4 hence rohit'age ll be 2(x+4)..bt rohit should be x+5+4=x+9 yrs 4 yrs later..so atq 2(x+4)=x+9.....now solve the equation

Let two numbers be x and y
x/y=7/3
so,x=7y/3. ---- (1)
Now,
x-y=48
Put,x=7y/3. From (1)
7y/3-y=48
y(7/3-1)=48
y(7-3/3)=48
4/3y =48
y=48×3÷4
y=36
Now,
x-36=48
x=48+36
x=84
x/y=7/3
so,x=7y/3. ---- (1)
Now,
x-y=48
Put,x=7y/3. From (1)
7y/3-y=48
y(7/3-1)=48
y(7-3/3)=48
4/3y =48
y=48×3÷4
y=36
Now,
x-36=48
x=48+36
x=84
