Given αβ= α + β ;  px^2 - 2x + 3p

From the eq ,

a = p, b= -2, c= 3p

α + β = -b/a = 2/p ------ (1)  (-ve and -ve cancels out and becomes +ve)

αβ     =  c/a = 3p/p ===> 3 (since p and p cancels out) ------ (2)

(1) = (2)

Therefore,  2/p = 3

                      2  = 3p

        ∴            p = 2/3
