Hello.
Given A(3,-2) and B(-1,4)
By using 2 point formula,
 \frac{y - y1}{y2 - y1}  =  \frac{x - x1}{x2 - x1}
You will find the equation of the Line joining A and B. You'll get it as 6x+4y-10=0.

Substitute the point P's coordinates I.e., (1,1).
If it satisfies the equation then the point lies in the line joining A and B.
