Correct Question :- if p,q,r in continued Proportion , Than

Prove That, q² = pr ?

Solution :-

when p,q,r in continued Proportion ,, we can say That,

p : q :: q : r

Now, we know That,

⇒ Product of extremes = Product of means

⇒ p x r = q x q

⇒ p x r = q²

⇒ q² = pr (Option ii) (Ans).

Method (2) :-

when p,q,r in continued Proportion ,, we can say That,

p:q = q:r

p/q = q/r

Cross - Multiply,

q² = pr (Ans).
