➡1 + sec theta /sec theta =

sin^2theta /1 - cos theta

➡(1 + 1/cos theta )/ (1/cos theta) =

sin^2 theta / 1 - cos theta

➡(Cos theta+ 1)/ cos theta ÷ 1/ cos theta

= sin^2 theta / 1 - cos theta

➡(Cos theta +1) /cos theta × cos theta =Sin^2 theta / 1 - cos theta

➡Cos theta+1 = sin^2 theta/1-costheta

➡(Cos theta +1) (1 - cos theta ) = sin^2 theta

➡1 - cos^2theta = sin^2 theta

Sin^2 theta = sin^2theta

LHS = RHS

[ Identity used : 1 - cos^2 A = sin^2 A.

(A+ B) (A - B) = A^2 - B^2.
