Given :

 \frac{x}{10} + \frac{y}{5} = -1 ------ (1)

Multiply equation (1) with (5), we get

 \frac{5x}{10} + \frac{5y}{5} = -5

 \frac{x}{2} + y = -5 ---- (2)

 \frac{x}{8} + \frac{y}{6} = -1 ---- (3)

Multiply equation (3) with 4, we get

 \frac{4x}{8} + \frac{4y}{6} = -4

 \frac{x}{2} + \frac{2y}{3} = -4 ---- (4)

On solving (2) & (4), we get

 \frac{x}{2} + y = -5

 \frac{x}{2} +  \frac{2y}{3} = -4

-----------------------------------------------

 \frac{-y}{3} = 1

y = -3.

Substitute y = -3 in (2), we get

 \frac{x}{2} + (-3) = -5

 \frac{x}{2} = -5 + 3

 \frac{x}{2} = -2

x = -4.

Therefore x = -4 and y = -3.

Hope this helps!
