1. x is equal to 50 degree
Y is equal to 80 degree 3. Angle CBD is equal to 55 degree

mahmoodjunaidi: Even i know that but how?
mahmoodjunaidi: How ??
Hemanta26: See ABEC is a cyclic quadrilateral and we know that sum of opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral is 180 degree.it is given the angle BEC is 100 degree.so angle BAC will be 180- 100 i.e 80 degree.it is given that ab is equal to ac i.e angle acb is equal to angle acb.so 2x+80=180 and 2x=100 and x=50
Hemanta26: 3(ans).mark a point k on arc AC.connect it to A and C.KABC will become a cyclic quadrilateral. Angle AOC=2(angle AKC). Given angle AOC is 110 degree. So,110=2(AKC). Angle AKC=55 degree. As KABC is a cyclic quadrilateral.we know that sum of opposite angle is 180 degree. So,angle AKC+angle ABC=180 degree. (Angle AKC =55 degree.). Angle ABC=180-55=125 degree. Angle ABC+angle CBD=180 degree(linear pair). 125+angle CBD=180. Angle CBD=180-125=55 degree

1.x=50 and y=80
2.110

mahmoodjunaidi: How??
Sudipta2002: see...in first diagram the angle opposite to 100 degree will be 80 degree( cyclic quadrilateral),so y=80
Sudipta2002: then ab=ac,so using angle sum property x=50
Sudipta2002: in 2nd fig 110 so opposite angle will be 70 using cyclic quadrilateral,so its linear pair is 110
mahmoodjunaidi: 2nd asnwer is 55 degree
mahmoodjunaidi: Not 110
Sudipta2002: ok
Sudipta2002: then asked to other one
Sudipta2002: who had answered it correctly
mahmoodjunaidi: By the way thanks for explaining
