3x + 10 / 5x + 10 = 5 / 7

7(3x + 10) = 5(5x + 10)

21x + 70 = 25x + 50

70-50 = 25x - 21z

20 = 4x

x = 5

Answer:

15 and 25

Step-by-step explanation:

let the numbers be 3x and 5x(because ratio is 3:5)

given that numbers are increased by 10

so new numbers are 3x+10 , 5x+10

ratio between new numbers is 5:7

3x+10/5x+10=5/7

7(3x+10)=5(5x+10)

21x+70=25x+50

20=4x

x=5

therefore original number are 3(5) and 5(5)

i.e 15 and 25
