ʙᴜᴛ 40% ᴀʀᴇ ɢɪʀʟꜱ.

ꜱᴏ, ɢɪʀʟꜱ = 36000 × 40/100

==> 14400

ᴛʜᴇɴ ʙᴏyꜱ = 36000 - 14400 = 21600.

===>>15 % ʙᴏyꜱ ᴀɴᴅ 10% ɢɪʀʟꜱ ɢᴇᴛ ᴩʀɪᴢᴇꜱ.

ꜱᴏ ɴᴏꜱ ᴏꜰ ʙᴏyꜱ ᴡʜᴏ ɢᴇᴛ ᴩʀɪᴢᴇꜱ = 21600 × 15%.

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER.

Total no. of students present for examination=36000
Out of 36000,
40% were girls and remaining (100-40)= 60% boys.
So, therefore no of girls present in examination= 36000×40/100=14400 girls.
No. of boys present for examination =36000×60/100=21600 boys.
Out of that 15% of boys and 10L% of girls got he prizes.
So, no of boys got the prizes=15×36000/100=5400
No. of girls got the prizes= 10×36000/100=3600 girls.
SUM OF THE STUDENTS WHO GOT THE PRIZES=5400+3600= 9000 students ( including boys and girls)
So, therefore Percentage of students got the prizes=9000/36000×100=25%
So, therefore 25% of students got the prizes.
