we know that in a triangle sum of 3 angles is 180°

⇒ A + B + C = 180

given C = 110 ⇒ A + B = 70

but AD and BD are angle bisectors of Angle A and Angle B

that is AD divides Angle A into two equal angles and one of the angle is x

⇒ Angle A = 2x

and BD divides Angle B into two equal angles and one of the angle is y

⇒ Angle B = 2y

But A + B = 70

substituting values of A and B in the above equation we get:

2x + 2y = 70

⇒ x + y = 35

The sum of angles x + y = 35
