Given that total number of rabbits and hens are 25.

= > x + y = 25 ---- (1)

Given that total number of their legs is 80.

= > 2x + 4y = 80 ----- (2)

On solving (1) * 2 & (2), we get

= > 2x + 2y = 50

= > 2x + 4y = 80

-2y = -30

y = 15.

substitute y = 15 in (1), we get

= > x + y = 25

Therefore, the numbers of rabbits = 10.
