First draw 2 normals BX and CY from B and C.

then according to mirror formula angle ABX=angle CBX and

angle BCY=angle DCY

Again,angle CBX=angle BCY

as BX and CY are parallel (both of them are normal from parallel sides PQ and RS)

now,angleCBX=angle BCY

so angle ABX=angle DCY

now angleCBX + angle ABX = angle BCY+angle DCY

so, angle ABC=angle BCD

NOW these two are alternate interior angle of AB and CD

so AB parallel to CD
