(1) The aim of experiment is to show phototropism in plants

2) The auxins in shoot tip diffuse to shady part of plant and the part of plant away from light grows faster than part of plant towards light and therefore the plant bends towards light.

3) A tropic movement exhibited by roots through growth towards gravity. This is also facilitated by auxins in root tips.

4) Tropic movements are directional responses of plant towards or away from stimuli facilitated by auxins.

5) If the light source is removed the plant continues growing straight direction as it is reversible.
