in given molecule  CH₂ = CN

1st thing that the structure provided is wrong, the carbon in cyanide is already forming  3 bonds with N , so it cannot form 2 more bonds with carbon of CH₂-


the correct strc. should be  CH₂₋CN  ⇒   CH₂- C≡N

For C 1  :  sp³

and for C 2  :  sp
