n is 13

Because in the sequence each number is the sum of 3 with the previous number.

For example

7=4+3

But if we have to find the answer in algebra form without any guess work we have to do the following.....

4+n=7
Therefore
n=7-4
= 3

Therefore n=3

Hope it helped

nth \: term = 64 \\ a = 1 \\ d = 3 \\ nth = a + (n - 1)d \\ 64 = 1 + (n - 1)3 \\ 64 = 1 + 3n - 3 \\ 64  - 1 + 3 = 3n \\ 66 = 3n \\ n = 22
