First, we rationalize the denominators.

$\frac{3+2\sqrt{7}}{3-2\sqrt{7}}$ x $\frac{3+2\sqrt{7}}{3+2\sqrt{7}}$

= $\frac{37+12\sqrt{7} }{-19}$

And so a is -37/19 and b is -12/19.
