Step-by-step explanation:

Question ::-

Mrs.Kaushik has a square plot with the measurements shown in the figure she wants ★

to contact our house in the middle of the plot .A garden is developed around the house .Find the total cost of developing a garden around the house at the rate of rupees 55 per m^2.

Given ::-

  • Side if square plot = 25cm
  • Area of plot = 625m^2
  • Breadth of house = 15m
  • Length of house = 20m

To Find ::-

  • Total cost of developing a garden around the house?

Formula Used ::-

  • Area of Square = Side × Side OR Side^2

Required Solution ::-

  • Area of garden - Area of plot (House)

➡ Side × Side - (Length + Breadth)

➡ 25^2 - (20 × 15)

➡ 625 - 300

➡ 325m^2

  • Area of garden = 325m^2

We know,

Cost of 1m^2 = ₹55

325m^2

➡ 325 × 55

  • ➡ ₹17, 875

Hence, Total cost for developing a garden = 17, 875
