•Question : Solve

10/x+y + 2/x-y = 4

15/x+y - 9/x-y =-2

√Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let 1/x+y = a and 1/x-y = b

So, according to question,

3(10a+2b=4)......(1) and 2(15a-9b=-2)

Using elimination method,

30a+6b=12 | Put b=2/3 in (1)

30a-18b=-4 | 10a+4/3=4

_________ | 10a=4-4/3

(-) (+) (+) | 10a=8/3

24b=16 | =>a=4/15

So, b=2/3 | 1/x+y=4/15

1/x-y=2/3 | 4x+4y=15

2(2x-2y=3)---(2) and 4x+4y=15

Again Using elimination method,

4x-4y=6 | put y=9/8 in (2)

4x+4y=15 | 2x-2*9/8=3

_______ | 2x-9/4=3

(-) (-) (-) | 2x=3+9/4

-8y=-9 | 2x=(12+9)/4

y=9/8 | x=21/8

Hope it helps you!!!!!!!!!!

Pl mark it the brainliest answer if it helps you to get satisfaction of knowledge and experience it......
